How we work, how to hire us and what to expect from a custom technology project.
Provider and scope
Biword is the commercial name used by Deyson Bejarano, an individual service provider identified with Colombian CC/NIT 1020432055, based in Medellín, Colombia. Contact: [email protected]. These terms describe how our custom technology services are requested, agreed and delivered. They do not replace a signed project proposal where specific conditions are set out.
Services offered
We provide technology consulting, custom web and mobile software development, business automation, systems integration, product design and AI-powered development. Each engagement is tailored to the client. The exact deliverables, technical scope, schedule and support are defined in a written proposal or service agreement.
How to hire a service
You can contact us through the form on this website, by email or by WhatsApp. We discuss your needs, prepare a proposal with scope, deliverables, estimated timing, total price, applicable taxes, payment method and milestones, and send it for review. Sending an inquiry does not create a paid order. Work begins only after written acceptance of the proposal and completion of any agreed initial payment. There is no automatic checkout or subscription on this website.
Prices and payments
Custom projects have no single fixed price. The accepted proposal states the currency, total amount, taxes if applicable, payment schedule and available payment channel before any charge. A material change in scope or price requires a revised quote and the client’s written approval. Payments are never requested solely by submitting the contact form.
Project execution and changes
We agree on points of contact, information needed from the client and the project stages. The client provides access, content, approvals and feedback required for delivery. Delays in those inputs may change the agreed schedule; we will communicate any impact. Additional features or revisions beyond the accepted scope are quoted separately before work begins.
Delivery, review and support
We deliver the agreed work according to the milestones in the proposal and give the client an opportunity to review it and report issues against the agreed scope. The proposal specifies the number of revision rounds, handover format, warranty or correction period, maintenance and ongoing support, where applicable. A project is not assumed to include perpetual hosting, support or third-party subscriptions unless expressly stated.
Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
A client may request cancellation by writing to [email protected]. Before work starts, any advance payment for unperformed work is returned. After work starts, we provide a breakdown of completed work and previously approved non-recoverable costs; the remaining unearned balance is returned using the original payment channel where possible. Statutory consumer rights, including withdrawal and payment reversal when applicable, remain available under Colombian law. Contact us at the same email to exercise them; we will explain the applicable steps for the particular transaction.
Intellectual property and third-party tools
The accepted proposal states whether the client receives ownership or a license for custom deliverables and when those rights take effect, usually after full payment. Pre-existing Biword tools, third-party software, fonts, libraries, platforms and services remain subject to their respective rights and licenses. We identify material external dependencies in the proposal when relevant.
Confidentiality and personal data
We use project information only to evaluate and provide the requested service, subject to agreed confidentiality terms. Personal data received through the contact form is handled according to our privacy policy. The client remains responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to provide any content or data used in the project.
Questions, complaints and applicable law
For questions, complaints, cancellation or rights requests, write to [email protected] or use the contact form. Include your name and project reference so we can identify the matter and respond through the same channel. Colombian law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer protections. These terms are available before contracting and may be updated for future engagements; accepted proposals keep their agreed conditions unless both parties approve a change.
